Automatic thread sewing of short runs, with one-minute make-ready to other formats. SuperSewer™ was specially developed to side sew blocks of On Demand photo books, children and text books up to 12 mm thickness using strong Nylon and cotton thread. A Touch Screen control panel makes it easy to operate. Super Sewer™ features Back Tack Technology™. Simply put, the sewing machine does a reverse back stitch on the head and foot of the book block. This very strong sewing will not come apart at the ends (like standard sewn blocks often do), but ensures a durable book lasting for generations.
